"The Man-Kind Podcast" Episode 8: Susannah Rae-Downing

Susannah was raised in the mountains of California where she grew in love with the Woods and learned affinity from the River. Inseparable from her animalness, Susannah communicates through the making of things that speak to and emerge from the the contours of the Earth, our environment. She and I met while waiting tables at Rossoblu in the heart of Downtown LA and I have been in awe of the artistic output that Susannah has created over the past few years. She has her own clothing line, a degree in Welding from the Art College of Design in Berkely, CA, and is currently works part-time as woods-woman for a business in Chinatown making high-end tables and furniture.
